Where Have I Been?
- May 5-6. Winchester Apple Blossom Festival. My very first experience of a craft show with the McConnell family! I had to work on Saturday and didn't get to spend as much time there as I would've liked, but enough for me to start to get the hang of operations.
- May 12-14. Home to Kansas--without JM. :-( I had a fabulous weekend--seeing all my siblings, attending SC's high school graduation, taking the family out for supper, catching the Sunday AM hot air balloon launch for the Anthony Balloon Festival, thanking our mother on Mother's Day, celebrating L's 13th birthday, and seeing D back off to Texas and SR back off to Sterling.
- May 19. PHC Commencement. Film Director/Producer Ken Wales spoke about how he got into the film industry (including time with Mr. Walt Disney), how he has seen God in his experiences, and how he believes Christians (himself and others) do have a role in the culture.
- May 20. BRBC Awana Awards Ceremony. I've been a leader for six years now.
Where Will I Be?
- May 26. Round Hill Hometown Festival. BRTC is performing. WLCC is running a series of games (3-legged race, sack race, and water balloon toss) with JM as the main coordinator. WLCC is also entering a car in the derby race.
- May 31-June 2. Wisconsin CHEA. I'll be recruiting for PHC by manning a booth and presenting a workshop, "Preparing your high schooler for college."
- June 4-8. Moving all the books in the PHC library (we hope).
- June 9. Celebrate Fairfax. BRTC performs.
- June 9. WLCC hosts a movie night in Round Hill.
- June 11-15. ACL Conference in Michigan. Always a grand time with other people that are library crazy like me.
- June 15-16. Batteau Fest in Lynchburg. BRTC performs twice on Saturday. (We think, I didn't find us on the website.)
- June 23. ALA Conference in Washington DC.
- June 30. BRTC's 10th birthday party.
- July 3-4. BRTC performs at local Independence Day celebrations. Looking like probably Lovettsville and Purcellville again this year.
- July 7. WLCC hosts an ice cream social in Round Hill.
Well, I think that's far enough out at the moment.
