AWANA - The First Night

Last night was the first night of Awana for this school year.

I think it was a bit less chaotic than other first nights--either that or I have a better understanding of what to expect and what should've been happening, so it seemed less chaotic.

In the pre-meeting, the leaders picked their tables. When the clubbers came down, they just picked the table they wanted. We almost came out with it being even--sort of (12, 12, 15, 11).

Now I need to go through all the information the leaders wrote down last night and work on getting it into a format that can be used for the rest of the year.

One thing that would be really nice, would be to be able to organize the clubbers by how far away the family lives. Then when club is canceled due to snow (or power outages), I can call the families that have the farthest to drive first and hopefully catch them before they've left. But for 50-80 clubbers, that gets to be quite a project.
