Last Monday, TGM started rolling from her back to her left side. It was a whole week later--today--before I saw her roll from her back to her right side. At one point today, I wondered if she was going to get the momentum to roll on over to her her front.
On Saturday, TGM flew to Kansas for the first time. She did very well. She slept about 30 minutes during each of the 1.5 hour flights. (We changed planes at O'Hare.)
Mom and D met us at the airport when we arrived just after 2:00. We then spent the rest of the afternoon with shopping and errands for the wedding. By the time we got home, TGM was very fussy. She protested anyone else holding her and wasn't particularly content or happy with me. Once I took her away from everyone else and we went upstairs to get her ready for bed, she was much more relaxed. She was even cooing and kicking contentedly while I did some unpacking to find what I needed to get her ready for bed. After some good sleep and a couple of days to get accustomed to the new people and routines, she seems to be doing wonderfully!
While we were out shopping on Saturday, I wondered at one point if TGM laughed at me. I haven't heard it again, so we'll have to see when she might repeat it or really start laughing.
