I must be missing something obvious!
I have my files arranged by "Name." As far as I know, that means they should be in alpha/numeric order by the name of the file, but I have two files that start with "2002" in between two files that start with "2007". I even edited the file names to be sure they were all "0" (number) and not "O" (letter). The order remains the same.
How can that happen?

Could it be because the number 200703 is smaller than the number 20020316? maybe it would be fixed if there was a space or something between the "200203" and the "16"?
I believe you are right! Thanks!
I don't think Windows has always done it that way. Wonder if there is a setting buried somewhere that determines whether it sorts using alpha/numerical sort order or ordinal sort order?
