Server Saga Conclusion

The server is working!! I dropped back by work after clogging this evening (about 9:15) and found that it was working. CELEBRATION!!

I had disabled the login file at the circulation desk, to prevent student workers from being confused while the data was still read-only. I re-enabled that file and left my evening student worker discharging all the books that have been returned in tha past 10 days. When that's done, he knows he can start working on all the ILL paperwork that we haven't been able to update in Voyager. That will be more than enough to keep him busy until close this evening. There will still be a couple of hours of ILL paper work and circ issues to catch-up on. Then I'll have to re-catalog the last batch of books.

Re-cataloging is not high on my list of things to enjoy, but it's better than some of the options I could be dealing with after a server failure.
