Happenings From Today

• I slept in while JM went to work for a 9AM meeting. He left me a billet doux. :-)
• JM gave me a wake-up call. :-)
• I started some laundry, rolled my hair and got ready to dress in my "Belle" costume for the library's Dress As Your Favorite Literary Character day.
• While eating a quick lunch, JM called to ask if I was home to let in the FIOS tech. JM was on his way home.
• FIOS tech started his installation.
• JM arrived home. :-)
• We finished filing our taxes. (OK, we're procrastinators. We ran the numbers back in late Feb/early March....we just never printed them out and sent them off. :-/
• JM saw me off in my Belle costume. He loved it. :-)
• Made a couple of calls with arranging for a donation to be moved for the library. It's a headache and not as originally described. :-/
• Was alerted to the breaking news at Virginia Tech by an e-mail from a friend. :-(
• "Belle" received flowers from "Beast!" :-)
• We have security at the main entrance of campus to try to prevent a copycat shooting.
• Decided how to handle the voting for the Literary Costume Contest.
• Formatted, organized, and uploaded the pictures for 14 entrants in the Literary Character Contest.
