I'm not nearly as sick as any of my family has been in the last week or two, but I'm recovering in my own way.
Friday, I donated blood. That left me feeling very low energy and tired Friday night by the time we got to the campground. Saturday, I continued to notice that I didn't have the same stamina for walking around and standing that I'd like to believe I normally have. Sunday was better, but still glad to be taking it easy.
Monday, back to work. Sitting at a desk all day is not hard work. Though it was one of my clumsy days. I have three bruises on my thighs this evening from yesterdays adventures--run-in with my desk at work, the computer desk at home, and something else (maybe a book cart). At one point, I thought maybe I'd bruised my knee, but no blue spots and not sore today.
Tuesday (this) morning, I got a flu shot. So now, of course, the muscle in that arm is sore. I was only half-clogging at practice tonight, as every bounce and every stretch of the arm reminded me that it was sore. I spent the afternoon and evening probably running a low-grade fever, as I always seemed to be too warm or too cool--not dramatically, but never really comfortable.
Thanking God that I'm not really sick and that none of it will even be noticeable in another couple days. Praying that the flu shot works and I don't get sick this winter. Praising God for a wonderful husband who coddles me when I'm not feeling well, even for piddly stuff like this!
