Pieces of My Life

I will be missing JM this week! Wednesday afternoon/evening, I drive to Williamsburg for a library conference that is Thursday and Friday. Friday afternoon/evening, I will be driving back home.

If I'm back in time on Friday, I'll be going to Darren and Sara's annual All Saints Day party, but that isn't looking too likely at the moment.

I am feeling much better this week than I was last week!

The prospective house to buy is still on-again, off-again. At the moment it is on. Closing has been pushed back into November and the contract still isn't ratified. The bank dropped the price on the MLS listing to less than $4,000 over our price. I wonder if they are hoping for an offer that will give them essentially the same price but without the waiting and uncertainty we are giving them. As Pastor Ray puts it, we are praying for the right house at the right time, based on what God wants.

I'm working on laundry tonight. I think I've gotten everything clean that I'll want to pack, just haven't gotten all the sweaters dry, so now I need to decide if those are what I want to pack at the last minute tomorrow or not.

Best go work on folding and packing.
