1. Pictures and Videos. Haven't taken too many pictures lately. I'll try to work on that more. JM did upload a couple of videos of TGM on his Facebook account. One that I took several weeks ago of TGM's "squeaky toy" cry. We missed getting any video of her "squeaky toy" hiccups. The other video was just taken this past weekend of her kicking her rattle toys on the rocker chair.
2. Eyes. TGM's eyes are continuing to become a lighter blue. Pastor Ray suggested that they are now the same color as my eyes. I haven't come up with a term to describe them now.
3. Voicing. TGM is so fun to listen to! She gets into a mood and she'll coo a whole conversation and story. Last week at clogging, Joyce was holding her and said that she could feel TGM humming while we danced. :-)
4. Travel. In less than two weeks I'll be flying with TGM to Kansas for D's wedding. I'm looking forward to going home. I'm praying that TGM will travel well, as it will just be the two of us flying together. (JM and Jer will just be out for the wedding.) She has traveled by car very well in the past, so I am hopeful.
5. Bridesmaid's dress. As I am a bridesmaid in D's wedding, I have a couple of friends (Alyssa and Rachel) out here working on putting the dress together for me. I am extremely grateful for the time and effort that they have put into it and it seems to be coming out beautifully!! I'm going to have to find a way to really show my appreciation.
6. Painting. Rachel brought some paint over the other day and painted my pantry door. I think (hope) it was the shove I needed to get some additional painting done around the house. The pantry door looks SO much better. Even JM noticed the difference before I even said anything. We think it had been primed, but never painted, so it had collected dirt and smudges that wouldn't wash off.
7. Halloween. What do you do for Halloween if you think kids get too much candy and you don't want to add to the problem by handing out more candy to all the kids that come to your door?

They all sorts of alternatives to candy now: individual microwave popcorn bags, fruit snacks etc. But, really, if the parents are allowing the kids to go trick or treating and get the candy I don't consider it my issue to worry about.
