How to Build a Tin Can Waveguide WiFi Antenna

I have access to a wireless network at home, but I have to be outside or sitting directly in front of my open door. Wonder if something like this would get the signal into my concrete house?

As long as the weather is nice, I'm not going to be too motivated to work on the problem.
