Prayer Updates

Megan was released from the hospital on Saturday, during the pig roast. To my knowledge, she didn't make an appearance at the event, but probably relaxed inside and enjoyed it through the window. I understand that the surgery was done orthoscopically(?), so that allowed her to come home earlier. She will still need to take it very easy (no lifting) for at least the next couple of weeks.

My grandfather. I seemed to have failed to note on my blog--He was taken to the emergency room and then into surgery for three hours in response to infections in his arms at the surgery sites. That was the first weekend of September. He is still in the hospital, but has been taken off the IV antibiotics and is only taking oral antibiotics now. Reports are that he is doing better and is in reasonably good spirits.
