Thursday Update

Have fun catching up on all the mundane minutia of my life! Yes, I just took advantage of being able to back-date posts to add two rather lengthy posts to this blog and one post to my other blog. And yes, I really wrote the posts at the indicated time. Using Blogger for Word to post documents makes it easy.

L and I have been pretty lazy the last few days. We got up late and went to the Shenandoah Valley Discovery Museum around noon. Spent the afternoon there, dropped by the public library, spent a few minutes at work, and grabbed some Subway sandwiches before heading to clogging.

Wednesday, we went into work again and spent the day there. In the evening, we baked a frozen pizza and watched a couple of movies.

Thursday, again we got up late and spent the morning lazily doing a few loads of laundry. We went to the Smithsonian's Naturalist's Center in Leesburg for a couple of hours, made a run by Walmart, and are now back at the public library for a bit.

The hard news of the day--D missed her flight out to VA. We got so caught up with the idea of her being here on Thursday, that we forgot that her flight was actually Wednesday night. By the time she realized it this afternoon, she'd completely lost her tickets. But through the abundant generosity of friends at the ministry and the grace of God, she received airline miles to get tickets to catch a flight here later tonight and was able to coordinate her flight with L back to TX next week. PTL for His grace and blessings, even in the midst of our falibility!!
