Monday evening

Potter Requests: 63

Before I head home, I thought I'd let my loyal fan base know that LCPL now has 63 requests for the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. I've checked it everyday for the past week (except Saturday) and am starting to get a nice Excel chart going.

I know that my readers really want to know about my life. Can I plead that I'm having too much fun to post? :)

Saturday was a clogging performance at Morningside House (retirement home). It's always a hot, but fun performance. With moments like realizing that I have about 6" clearance to get my hand over Philip's head and under the ceiling (especially low at that point due to the duct work). I performed Bluegrass Express for the first time ever (first time for BRTC in close to 2 years). Other than blanking on almost an entire section in the middle, it didn't go too badly. Then we performed "Pirates Who Don't Do Anything" as an encore. Except that my shoe came untied. When we went to the chorus line section and Holly stepped on my laces, I just stepped entirely out of the dance.

After the performance, we had about 10 of our BRTC friends come over and give us a "pounding"--food and supplies in one-pound quantities (more or less). They also brought over pizza, so we let them see their quilt that we'd hung in the living room and gave them a tour of the house. It was a lot of fun for everyone!

Saturday, JM went out with a bunch of other people from WLCC to promote the ApologetiX concert on Friday.

Weather note. PHC canceled all classes on Wednesday due to snowy conditions--less than 2". I wasn't expecting it at all and made it to work (no problems) before I knew there had been a change. Now they are predicting precipitation from this evening through about noon on Wednesday. Again, no more than 1-2" of accumulation (mostly tomorrow morning), but some of that is expected to be a wintery mix, rather than snow.
