Update on Mom

I guess this shows how many readers I have--none (at least none outside my immediate family)!

Mom was released from the hospital on Saturday after Thanksgiving! It was very good to hear that she was home. I was very impressed that she felt strong enough to make it to worship service on Sunday morning. I'm sure it was as encouraging for her to be there as it was for all her friends to see her there.

Martha, a family friend, flew in from Illinois a few days after Mom got home and plans to stay until the 18th--after SR is finished with final exams and the day before JM and I fly home for Christmas.

She has follow-up appointments for several weeks with various doctors, but doesn't expect to need to undergo any further treatments!
