Snow - For Real

Mid-morning this morning, snow was seen in the air. By noon, a couple of inches of snow covered the ground. There were some very large flakes in the air. I tried to take some pictures, but not sure how they'll really look once they get off the camera. By the end of the afternoon, a good four inches lay on the ground. This is a very wet snow--very slushy underneath.

The prediction was for freezing rain and maybe a quarter inch of ice this evening, but it didn't seem to be coming down like that. Most people left early to avoid driving in the ice that was predicted.

I expect classes will still be held tomorrow.
