Blood Drive

PHC is hosting a blood drive today, so I took the time to donate. Now I have band-aids on two fingers on my left hand and the bandage on my right elbow. Why two band-aids? My hemoglobin was borderline and they had to do a second prick to get blood for the test with the centrifuge.

In the 40-50 minutes I was in the bus for the donation, I think at least 3 people passed out or came close to passing out. I'm not sure whether the first one had donated or not. The second one hadn't even made it to the bus to donate. I don't think the third one had donated yet either. I'm not sure what that means; other than the fact that passing out can be more psychological than physiological
