Random Notes for the Day

The weather still doesn't know what season it is. A cold front moved in today with lots of wind. The temperature made it over 60 before noon today, but its been dropping since. It's now 43, with the wind chill factor it's 37.

I turned in a deposit today to go on a 9-day trip to Greece that is being organized by PHC. At the moment, it looks like there will be about 10 people on the trip.

This is a 3-day weekend for PHC/HSLDA.

Tomorrow is going to be a long, tiring, and completely FUN day--a clogging workshop!! Last night, after most everyone had left, it was figured that at least 15-20 BRTC members are planning to attend the workshop. Based on previous years, I think there will be 250-300 people total at the workshop. JM and I are meeting up with another clogger at 7:30AM to carpool down to Haymarket, 40 minutes away. After a day of teaches and an evening fun dance, we probably won't be back in the Purcellville area before 10 or 11PM.

Sunday afternoon, I'm driving down to Roanoke for a library workshop on Monday. I'll be learning about evaluating the library for accreditation purposes.

Clogging workshop sounds like something at a plumbers convention

heheh. I'd pick the clogging workshop over the plumbers convention any day, even though the clogging worshop does have more sweaty people and leaves my feet and muscles aching!
