Yes, I made it safely back from Greece. The trip was great! Got to see lots of sites and ruins. Made some new friends. Had a few adventures along the way. Assuming I make the time to get it done, I'll eventually put up on the blog the notes I wrote while I was there about what we did and saw.
JM gave me a single red rose the morning I left for Greece. Roses aren't the longest lasting flower, so I knew that if I took it with me--getting bumped around during travels and with very little water--it wouldn't last long. But I figured I'd enjoy it more in the time I did have it with me on the way to Greece than if I left it at home, safe in a vase of water, to wilt while I was gone. Well, I took it all the way to Greece and brought it back with me. I guess I am just a LITTLE BIT sentimental, especially about flowers from a certain someone. :)
And just to have the fact stated on this blog--yes, I AM ENGAGED!!! I still have so many thoughts racing through my head! A year ago, I was stressed about work and not looking for or expecting a relationship. How much has changed (mostly me)! There are so many things that will have to be planned and done before the wedding we are wanting to have December 30th--church, music, attire, guest lists, invitations, reception. Then don't forget the thank you notes for all the gifts received, a house to put them all in, and a honeymoon to plan too.
Then I take a deep breathe and think about the wonderful guy that patiently spent 9 months wooing me, put the ring on my finger, and has promised me a lifetime. It isn't about the next 7 months of planning for a party; it's about a lifetime of love and pursuing a closer relationship with God together.

Hey C,
How come you and J have not posted a picture of you two on all blogs? I'm sure your distant faithful readers would like to see the happy couple together.
dm
Sorry, pictures of us together are rather limited. There are only three that are posted that I'm aware of.
The most recent from Easter.
A wedding shortly before Easter.
One from the end of last year.
Hmmm....just noticed something. What does it mean that I'm wearing pink in all three pictures? :)
