Bad News

The good news (when it is posted) will most likely appear first on No Longer "Just Friends."

JS had been planning for some time to spend this weekend at his home in Michigan. So, he left today around noon to make the drive. I made my trip to UVA this morning. (That went quite well!) I got back to the college around 3:30. About an hour later, I received notification that JS returns on Monday, it will only be to clear his personal items out of the office. The new incoming president is hiring someone else to work on accreditation. The new president believes this person has better experience for the position. I don't inherently have a problem with the change in personnel, other than it leaves me as the only professional librarian for an indefinite amount of time.

Discussing the library's staffing with those above me in management, I feel like they will probably be willing to hire another librarian. They didn't give me a definite answer, but I'm to talk with them further after I return from Greece.
