On Thursday, driving on Main St in Purcellville, they were installing stop lights at the intersection of Main and Hatcher (the road to the post office). While I do see the need for a stoplight there, it's a bit of a downer that Purcellville will have one more stop light. The light isn't functioning yet, but I'm guessing it will be soon. The intersection was widened and a left-turn lane added on Main Street coming from the west.
A couple months ago, WLCC was invited to join another church in the area. We shared a couple of Wednesday night meetings before it was decided not to merge the churches. One of the identified differences was that WLCC was too casual. It's hard to get too upset with that accusation, when that is a primary reason that at least one family has chosen to attend our church in the last month, when they otherwise would stay home for lack of "suitable clothes."
JM and I dog-sat for one of our friends this past week. While I enjoyed having Crash around, I'm still not ready to have a dog in our house all the time.
BRTC did group pictures this afternoon. They also did individual and family shots. I'll be interested to see how they all turn out!
SC has been working at Gourmet Chef for the past couple of weeks. He seems to be enjoying his job!
Tomorrow, AnnM will be visiting the PHC library. She's a librarian at another Christian college and is still working on her library degree. She had decided to visit the PHC library a couple of weeks ago for a class assignment. Her college had an accreditation visit since then. I was flattered (and maybe a bit surprised) that during the visit, it was recommended that she visit our library for some ideas for preparing for their next accreditation visit. I'm looking forward to visiting with her and finding out more about her library as well!

Light goes on in December. That gives everyone AMPLE time to get used to it! It isn't too bad unless you want to turn left from Hatcher to Main. Pity the cars who back up behind you WAITING patiently for you to make the turn or for a sweet car to finally let you in! That's what I like about Purcellville. People are at least NICE!
