BRTC @ Oktoberfest, Pigroast

After missing the last couple of performances, I joined the Blue Ridge Thunder Cloggers on Saturday in Lovettsville to perform at Oktoberfest. We were scheduled to perform at noon for the German festival, but we didn't make it on until after 12:20.

I also stopped by the Lovettsville Library's used book sale. As always, I found some good buys, including a set of tapes from the Teaching Company--just missing one tape. I think I should be able to replace that tape for a few dollars and add the set to the library. For about $10, I'll have a set of tapes that would normally cost over $100.

For the evening, I wandered across the driveway to enjoy the pig roast. I never counted people, but well over 100 in attendance. I wouldn't be surprised if there were 200 people there. And that was a lower attendance than past years because the event was postponed a week.
