Tuesday Notes

As I was walking around the building after lunch, I noticed that there is now a gazebo by Lake Bob. Since I'd rather not assume that I've been terribly unobservant (despite previous evidence), I'll assume that they just put it in today.

A book title in a catalog caught my eye today--What Would Buffy Do?: The Vampire Slayer as Spiritual Guide by Jana Riess. I don't suppose it would be a reliable source of theology. But as a number of the themes of Chritianity tend to be universal (redemption, self-sacrifice, etc), it's not surprising that a book can be written drawing parallels.

Ugh. I've still got more to do that can be done in a day. At the moment, we are caught up on ILL, so that feels good. (Even though it is the student workers that do most of that work.)

I think I'll call it quits on work for the day and spend some energy clogging.

Actually, the dropped the Gazebo off on Friday afternoon. I saw it arrive on a flat bed truck. You aren't unobservant... it just isn't in a spot you notice right away. :) SM

Well, I wasn't here Friday or Saturday, so I've got an excuse for the first couple of days. :)
