This week, Roku and Netflix unveiled a little $100 box that delivers movies directly to your TV — for free — with a regular Netflix membership.

Having just started using Netflix a few months ago, this caught my attention. We are at the minimum membership level, so only get to have one DVD at a time. I saw the Instant Watching feature, where we can view unlimited movies on the computer. As David Pogue points out--the selection isn't very good. I gave a shot at watching one of the movies and had a hard time getting the sound up loud enough to enjoy it. (Not sure where the fault lies for that.) Due to the selection of available movies and the number of movies we watch, it would probably take a long time for this box to pay for itself for us. But it sounds very promising for avid movie watchers!
