The AWANA memory challenge for this summer is Proverbs 3:1-13. I haven't made it very far in the memorizing, but I'm enjoying spending more time on this familiar passage with so many great exhortations!
v. 1 Do not forget my law....
v. 3 Let not mercy and truth forsake you...
v. 5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding.
v. 6 In all your ways acknowledge Him...
v. 7 Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and depart from evil.
v. 9 Honor the Lord with your possessions, and with the firstfruits of all your increase...
v. 11 Do not despise the chastening of the Lord, nor detest his correction...
And what makes it even better is that each of these instructions come with promises--long life and peace, favor and esteem, direction, health and strength, prosperity, and happiness.
Won't you join me in committing to memory these verses of instruction and promise?

Psalms 119:11 & 16 came to mind as soon as I read your challange :D; So, in other words, sure why not.
