Summer

It has actually started to feel like summer this week!

We've had high's in the 90's, rather than the 70's. With plenty of sun and a big thunderstorm on Monday evening, it has been humid and hot.

Leaving clogging last night, I paused to admire the flash of fireflies over the green field. With the night being warm and calm, it was comfortable sitting out on the deck visiting with neighbors and drinking ice tea.

And to top it all off--the true harbringer of summer--I heard from my family in Kansas that harvest has begun!
