A moment of celebration. I created an MSAccess report about 6 months ago, but was not satisfied with it. The report failed to print the patron barcodes properly, insisting there was an error. Today, I realized that a second line of the report was using the barcode field in a different context. MSAccess couldn't treat it as a barcode in one context and as regular text in another. A simple renaming of the barcode field in the report clarified the different uses and made both MSAccess and myself much happier with the results.
