Virginia received the first snow of the season! On Wednesday, about an 1" of the white stuff fell...maybe 2" where it drifted. That fall had mostly melted when Saturday morning arrived with another storm. By the end of the day, we had a nice few inches of dry, white powder on the ground and swirling in the wind.
I enjoyed the day by staying home and staying inside. I relaxed, watched some movies, read some books, and went through everything on my "vanity." Cleaning off my vanity was way past due. There was a collection stuff that had been piled there when I moved in and I had never completely gone through it. I also found a check written to me over 2 years ago--guess I lost that money. I had picked up some plastic drawer organizers at the end of the week; those really helped to neaten up things.
I think either my desk or my clothes shelves will be the next focus point of cleaning and organization.
When I left for church this morning, it took me several minutes to get out of my driveway. Getting up the hill without crashing into traffic requires the help of a traffic controller. (Thank you, Megan!) If the snow gets packed and/or ices over before I leave in tomorrow morning, it will be even harder to get out of the drive.
