Rumors from the outer-world

Reports from students and staff wandering through the library state that:

• There are 28 police cars on campus.
• There are more than 80 police officers on campus.
• There were two ambulances. (Another accident?)
• SoulForce has arrived.
• So far the group isn't very big or impressive--their signs can't be read from on-campus.
• Another local group is expected to arrive yet.
• The local group was trying to bring 200 individuals to the protest.
• The local paper published an article on Tuesday about the planned visit.

Alyssa is planning to go home at lunch, as usual--partly just to have an excuse to experience the protest and security as she drives through.
