I Hope You Dance

I heard the Lee Ann Womack song I Hope You Dance twice on the radio this morning. Considering it has been a few years since the song was popular, I found it unusual to hear the song twice in one morning.

But I've noticed that with other songs....I won't hear a song for months, then I'll hear it several times within the space of a day or a week. I've always wondered if it was psychological--once I'd heard the song, I was tuned to hear it again. Or if there is some sort of common song-selection between radio stations that brings back older songs at particular times.

Besides the inspirational message of the song, I Hope You Dance has a place in my mind for being the first song for which I learned a clogging routine.

That song is special to me, too.
