Countdown

In 96 hours, I will be on my way to the airport to fly to Dallas, meet my sisters, and drive up to Kansas for Christmas!

It's felt like Friday since Wednesday evening this week. That has made for a long week that has gone by too quickly. I still have a whole list of stuff that needs to be done before I leave on Tuesday--ILL issues to resolve, invoices to follow-up on, student timesheets to approve and submit, and various other pieces to wrap-up.

Early this week, I made a job offer for the position that has been open in the library since September. I expect to have a decision on that by Monday. Then I'll either need to prepare for a new employee or figure out what the next step will be in filling the position.

So much to do, so little time! And then I will dedicate myself to enjoying my family and the holidays for two weeks.
