From TX

Yesterday, after a day of packing and last-minute errands, I flew to Dallas.
Today, I volunteered at the Gospel for Asia headquarters. I spent the morning in the Believer's Cafe--measuring coffee into filters, cleaning out the refrigerator and the pantry. It's a little comfort that I'm not the only person who ends up with soured milk in the refigerator.

I had lunch with both of my sisters that are here in the area and Jen, who is under suspicion for impersonating me. :)

In the afternoon, I packed 50-75 boxes with books to be sent out and then spent time filing credit card info.

On the way to work this morning, there was a wintery mix of rain and and sleet. Through the morning, there were periods of snow which turned steady and really starting accumulating about lunch time. Now there is some ice on the roads and a layer of snow on all the grassy areas.

The first accumulating snow I experience this season is in TX; and may be the only snow they'll get all winter!
