Home for the Holidays

Well, I made it safely to Dallas yesterday, where my family is meeting today for Christmas. I got in a little later than originally expected. My original flight plans were to arrive in Dallas at 11:15AM. I ended up arriving around 9:15PM.

But I think the change was positive all around. I got a free round-trip ticket to any of the 48 contiguous states. D didn’t have to leave work in the middle of the day to pick me up. Both D and SR were able to come to the airport and pick me up. The couple hosting me for the first night had extra time to prepare (which she admitted to D they needed). And in the 7+ hours between the original flight and my re-scheduled flight, I got to spend a few extra hours with JM.
