Will you join me in praying for Betsy's family?

Betsy was a sweet, energetic, joyful, 5yr-old girl who was part of one of the families at BRTC. Her older sister and brother dance with the group. Betsy had a heart problem that required her to have a heart transplant when she was less than a year old. Unfortunately, the arteries of the new heart did not grow with Betsy and lack of blood was slowly killing the heart. After much waiting, she was the recipient of a second heart transplant on October 14, 2006. Her 5th birthday was October 31st, while she was still struggling with complications from this second transplant. Friday evening, November 5th, Betsy's body gave up the struggle and she died peacefully with her family surrounding her.

The viewing is scheduled for Nov 8. The funeral mass and burial is scheduled for Nov 10. The family has faith, but are still finding it very difficult to deal with the loss of one so young.
