By Friday morning, I admitted that I had a toothache--not just that I'd bitten on something wrong or had been gritting my teeth. But it wasn't hurting continualy, just when pressure was applied.
I was able to get in to see the dentist Friday afternoon for confirmation of what I knew--the tooth that was bothering me was one that had already had a root canal (just over 3 years ago) and had a crown. I was offered an appointment of Monday or Tuesday to get additional work done. I picked Tuesday, since it wasn't hurting me THAT much and Tuesday worked better with my schedule.
Over the weekend, it started aching non-stop and feels slightly swollen. I've been taking OTC painkillers regularly since Friday afternoon/evening. So this morning, I called and got the appointment changed to today. I don't know if they might decide I need to go on a round of antibiotics before they do any work, we'll see.
Otherwise, I'm doing fine. Had a fun clogging performance Saturday evening. It was a church fellowship and we got to do an interactive section--giving everyone the chance to learn a few small circle figures.
The Washington v. Dallas football game on Sunday was very enjoyable--tied score for most of the game and a very exciting final minute.
Getting very close on getting all of the invitations addressed. We are down to less than 40 names to finish. I didn't spend as much time addressing as I would've if my tooth hadn't been aching. Also ran into a slight snag in that 1 stack (25 envelopes) of "inner" envelopes turned out to actually be outer envelopes. I called this morning and the company readily agreed to ship me 25 more of the inner envelopes to correct their error.
I'm looking forward to having my mom visit next weekend! She'll be here for the bridal shower and we'll get to do a bit of planning together. I was a bit disappointed that JM's mom won't be able to make it as well for the weekend, but she has another committment that takes priority.
