Letter of recommendation

I just finished writing a letter of recommendation (maybe the first I've written?). It is for a friend applying for a fellowship for the library degree she'll be starting in the fall. I was the one who caught an e-mail promoting the fellowship on a library listserv and sent it on to her. I'm particularly hoping that she does get the award.
