Simple Pleasures

Yeh! For the first time since Sunday's big rain, I connected at a speed of more than 40kbps. :)

I was able to spend a couple of hours outdoors this afternoon enjoying the spring weather. Took a walk through the Villages (couple miles). Stopped in the park where we checked out the murals by the 4th & 5th graders, played a game of hopscotch, and followed the path back through the uncleared trees. Thanks, J!

Walking the paths among the trees brought back memories of camping and fishing trips growing up that included "exploring the woods"--following the cow paths through the catalpa grove. We'd find the remnants of "teepees" and remains of animals. My sisters and I would make up stories where we were the brave adventurers, the courageous explorers, and the inevitable heros.
