I scraped ice off my windshield before I could leave my house yesterday. High today of 78. It's a bit of a challenge to know what to expect weather-wise.
Yesterday, I attended a library meeting north of DC. That meant I had to do some traveling in rush hour traffic. I survived. The meeting was worth it. I didn't learn anything that can be used in the library immediately. I did meet other librarians from the area. I did get a better idea of what to expect from the next couple of upgrades of our library catalog software. I did learn about a software piece that could be very useful to help catalog, when I have the time to set it up and play with it. I did get a break from working in the library for a day.
Today hasn't been terribly productive. Maybe tomorrow will be better.
Saturday is the Guthrie Fall Festival. I'm scheduled to help with games for an hour, with crafts for an hour, and to finish out the day by clogging.
