Most of the time I completely forget that Salina, KS (pop. 46,000) has a commercial airport. But then occasionally, Travelocity offers a cheaper fare to fly into Salina than into Wichita. However, saving $30 wouldn't justify adding an hour and 45 minutes to the one-way drive to the airport. That adds up to 3.5 extra hours for someone to pick me up and 3.5 extra hours for someone to take me back. Can't rent a car for that $30 either.
Guess I still fly in and out of Wichita.
