Life continues

Late last week, I received a few more responses to the library position I'm trying to fill. I am encouraged. Still praying about finding and hiring the right person.

Especially now that the calendar says "October," I'm feeling like every day is more like fall than summer. It's on the cool side in the mornings and evenings, but still very nice during the day. The trees are losing leaves and changing colors. People are starting to pull out the warmer clothes.

Over the weekend, I covered some paperback books to make them last longer, fiddled with the library security system, enjoyed a cook-out fellowship dinner with the WLCC church family, and helped with Awana.

I also had a conversation about Myers-Briggs personality types and careers with Jesse. I had learned in grad school that my personality type was a typical librarian. It was interesting to learn a bit more about the indicators and to guess the indicators for others.
