After the Weekend

I came into work around noon on Monday, as usual. However, it wasn't usual to find out how much PHC had helped keep the ER busy over the weekend. Friday night, one of the kitchen staff was in a car accident and broke several bones, including leg, pelvis, arm, and nose. Last I heard, she was in ICU as she was also experiencing an irregular heartbeat. Next, I heard that one of the library student workers suffered an appendicitis attack late Saturday resulting in an appendectomy on Sunday afternoon. Early Sunday morning, an ambulance was called onto campus for a freshman who had collapsed from exhaustion.

One week from tomorrow, I will be headed to Greece! So much to be done before then.
