The Light at the End of the Tunnel

I'm very excited. A hire has been made for the library assistant position that has been open since September!

I sent the e-mail seeking approval to make the offer last Wednesday. On Monday, I contacted the person who has been working on HR to have an offer letter sent. This morning, I received an e-mail from the candidate letting me know that he had received, signed, and returned the offer letter. He'll be starting on Monday!
