Morning Stream of Consciousness

That's brogue on the radio. They're talking about St. Patrick. Oh yeah, today's St. Patrick's day. I wonder what I have that's green that I could wear. Do bruises count? I've got two bruises that are turning wonderfully green. Is that where school kids started pinching people who weren't wearing green?
From an interview on the radio:
- The Irish did have a time in their history when they were oppressed. [Maybe that's where the pinching came from?]
- The Ireland's national color is actually blue.
- The national musical instrument is the harp.
- When the Irish were oppressed, they were not allowed to wear green, so the wearing of a shamrock was a statement of national loyalty and defiance.
