Fall

This was not an impressive fall, as far as colors of leaves on the trees. Despite the dry spell and maybe because of the lasting warm weather, the leaves stayed green later than I expected. When they did turn, they were not as bright and varied as some falls. A dull orangish-brown was the predominant color everywhere one looked. And less than two weeks after the leaves turned colors, we had a couple of very windy days that stripped the trees of their leaves. Leaving us with the bare branches of winter already revealed.

Eastern Kansas-Western Missouri had dull autumn colors, as well.
