"Model of Presidential Personality" - Leadership Styles

The library received a large donation several months ago from a politically-active conservative group. A small portion of the donation was very dated files from the organization.

Given the circumstances, I wasn't surprised to find a 3-ring binder of information detailing campaign options and stratedgies from a campaign from the era of the 1984 presidental primaries. I did find interesting a sheet with the above heading.

In the center of the page was "PERSONALITY" with an arrow to the description of each of four personalities: politician, manager, care taker, and white knight. The descriptions read:
Politician
- Gets Things Done
- Negotiator
- Deal Maker
Manager
- Run Like a Business
- Efficient
- Fiscal Responsibility
- Republican
Care Taker
- Honest
- Good Job
- Minority Appeal
- Democrat
White Knight
- Knowledgeable
- Up-Scale
- Liberal
- Democrat

Is that "Republican" and "Democrat" as in the type of government or as in political affiliation?
