Happy Thanksgiving!

The PHC campus has gone from thriving to ghost town since Friday. Many students were able to go home. Many more were able to go home with college friends or visit family in the area. There are some that remain on campus, but even many of those have plans to be off-campus tomorrow.

I did make the decision to have the library open today and there were a number of students that came in through the day, but not nearly as busy as a normal day. I wish I could've been more productive, but I'm ready for the break!

I'm looking forward to having Thanksgiving dinner with friends (a faculty member & wife) and some students. Then I'll enjoy a couple of days in DC at the National C.L.O.G. Convention.

I still haven't figured out if I'll be going in Thursday evening or Friday AM. I'm not excited about the idea of driving in, but meeting others at 6:45 in the MORNING lacks appeal. As Joyce said last night, "Someone had to tell me that 6:00 happens more than once a day."

Hope your Thanksgiving is filled with family, friends, and fun!
