Friday. Not quite the weekend, but a bit of a highlight. I interviewed someone for the position that's open in the library. Now I've got to do the follow-up.
Friday afternoon. Not quite a highlight. Got word from I.T. that they can't find the image for the library staff computers. Jim came down and took notes about where all the library software install files are kept and what needs done to get the computer ready for use--everything that would've been part of the image. Hope I didn't forget anything.
Friday evening. Was planning to go out with ladies from the church. About the time I was to leave, I really started making progress on some work projects. Feel bad about missing the fellowship, but good about what was accomplished.
Saturday morning. Woke up late, so was late getting to rehearsal. I'm helping with the costumes for the BRBC annual Christmas play. The woman who has been primarily responsible for the last several years is not going to be here for the performances this year. The three of us who are going to be here have to be ready to handle everything. Performances the first weekend of December.
Saturday afternoon. A couple of hours of work. Didn't accomplish a lot, but did get some things done and answered a few questions. Mostly people wanting to know if they request something on ILL now, will the have it before Thanksgiving break or as soon as they get back. Answer: Not likely, but we can try.
Saturday evening. Contra-dancing at the Bluemont Oldtime Country Dance. The skating rink is a great size for the number of people they have show up and the wooden floor is great to dance on. There are also great dancers there, including students from PHC. I was tired at the end of the night, but very happy.
Sunday. Church at WLCC in the morning. Get some rest in the afternoon and talk to my mom. Awana in the evening.
